Dr. Arun Rajasekaran

Arun Rajasekaran, MD, FACP, FASN, FNKF, is a board-certified nephrologist with a clinical and research focus in glomerular diseases. He completed a clinical fellowship in nephrology, followed by a dedicated clinical and research fellowship in glomerular diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He later served as a nephrology faculty member at UAB and as core faculty of the UAB Glomerular Kidney Disease Clinic. Dr. Rajasekaran is currently a Nephrologist and Partner-Physician at Renal Medicine Associates in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His clinical and research interests include Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy (IgAN), primary podocytopathies including focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and lupus nephritis. Given his expertise in glomerular kidney diseases, he serves as a principal investigator in clinical trials focused on a broad range of glomerular disorders.
