Prof. Subhasish Bose

I am a dedicated and passionate physician with strong work ethics and a believer of patient-centered care. Rich with substantial health care experience from three different continents, I am now dedicated to grow Nephrology practice in central Virginia. I have been the Managing Partner for this group of 8 Board Certified Nephrologists and 5 APP providers. Besides the thrill of working in a busy practice, I enjoy teaching the next generation of physicians and health care professionals and pursue clinical research. My Nephrology group provides CKD care to over 12,000 patients in Central Virginia, provides all aspects and spectrum of comprehensive kidney care in Central Virginia. We look after about 650 ESRD patients that include about 125 patients on Home Dialysis including about 55 patients on Home Hemodialysis. We longitudinally follow about 200 patient for post-transplant care after Kidney Transplantation. Despite, my busy clinical work, I have been involved in multiple clinical trials as investigator and authored multiple scientific publications. I am specifically passionate about innovative ideas to ensure equitable access to specialist care across all areas of our society and country. I am a leader in Value based care and efficient kidney care with innovative care models.
