Dr. Jonathan Tolins

I am currently a senior partner in an independent practice specializing in Nephrology. I previously held positions as Medical Director, Intensive Care Unit, Fairview Ridges Hospital; and Chairman, Dept. of Internal Medicine, Fairview Ridges Hospital. I am a Medical Director at two dialysis units affiliated with DaVita.I was on the staff of the virtual ICU (Tele-ICU) at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, working as a part-time staff intensivist. In this position, I managed ICU patients in VA’s across the country using state-of-the-art tele-medicine technology. I am also currently Director of Clinical Research, InterMed/Davita Clinical Research, based in Edina, MN. We have 10+ clinical trials ongoing at any given time. We focus on new treatments for patients with CKD, Hypertension and patients on dialysis. Specialties: Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Nephrology.
