As a seasoned Consultant Nephrologist with over 18 years of clinical and academic experience, I currently serve as the Head of the Nephrology and Dialysis Department at Memon Medical Institute, where I oversee the execution and quality assurance of over 3,000 dialysis sessions every month. This high-volume leadership role reflects my ability to manage complex renal operations while maintaining compassionate, individualized care. My expertise spans hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis , CRRT , transplant care, and electrolyte management, with advanced procedural skills in renal biopsies, dialysis access, and vascular management. Throughout my career, I’ve combined clinical excellence with academic dedication, having previously served as Assistant Professor of Nephrology at Hamdard University Hospital, where I trained medical students, led bedside tutorials, and contributed to curriculum development. I am also a DHA-certified nephrologist with a strong research portfolio, contributing to global literature on topics like renal bone disease, hepatitis in dialysis patients, and metabolic complications in CKD. With a deep commitment to evidence-based nephrology, patient-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration, my mission is to raise the standard of kidney care while mentoring the next generation of nephrologists.
