Dr. Shaminder Gupta

Dr. Shaminder Gupta is a practicing internist and nephrologist in the greater New Orleans area. His practice focuses on the long term management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). He has a special interest in population health and has served as the state lead for hypertension and chronic kidney disease in Louisiana. He has also served as the Chairman of then National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana and started its home dialysis task force. Dr. Gupta has additionally built a large home-based dialysis practice and has a special interest in rural medicine. Dr. Gupta currently serves as a Chief Medical Officer for Monogram Healthcare. In this role, he is working to establish population-based programs that impact the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease. These programs interface with payors to help create patient based outcomes that also are cost effective and efficient.
