Prof. Wasim Ahmed

During my professional career of more than 22 years as a Consultant Nephrologist, I have gained extensive experience in managing patients with wide variety of kidney diseases, in medical education, quality improvement, patient safety, clinical research and administration. I have led multidisciplinary teams, implemented evidence-based guidelines to improve patient outcomes, and successfully overseen clinical governance frameworks to ensure high standards of care and compliance. I believe, I have the ability to align clinical excellence with organizational goals. I take pride in fostering collaborative environments, mentoring physicians and staff, and driving initiatives that enhance both quality of care and operational efficiency. I am very passionate about my work, always eager to learn, adapt to and accept new challenges. I feel proud to be working in the largest and the most esteemed Nephrology group in the UAE, the SEHA Kidney Care.
