Dr. Naif Ali A Alghamdi

I am an Assistant Professor at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and a certified Internist and Nephrologist, recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Internal Medicine. I am also a Hypertension Specialist accredited by the American Society of Hypertension, a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.I also hold a clinical fellowship in Glomerular diseases at McMaster University in Canada, where I treated complex patients with glomerular disease, including IgA nephropathy, lupus nephritis, ANCA-associated vasculitis, membranous nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, C3 glomerulopathy, and other forms of glomerular disease—having worked with well-known figures, including Dr. Mike Walsh, Dr. Azim Gangji, Dr. Amber Molnar, Dr. Ali Iqbal and Dr. Nader Khalidi. Additionally, I completed a virtual fellowship in the field of glomerular diseases. I received the Dr. Mark Crowther Residency Teaching Award during my residency at McMaster University, in addition to the Nephrology Residency Program award for excellence in teaching and Professionalism during my fellowship.I have been practicing as an Internist and Nephrologist with an independent license in Canada/ Ontario since 2021. Having worked in various academic and community hospitals, in inpatient, outpatient, and all settings over the these four years, has provided me with experience in dealing with patients of different acuity levels and needs.My passion is to serve my community with my knowledge and experience, in addition to advancing the field of Internal medicine and Nephrology, especially in my areas of expertise (glomerular diseases and hypertension)
