I have an active interest in promoting medical education and improving the means by which healthcare is provided in large hospitals. As the Network Director of Physician Training I manage a team that enables the delivery of a high quality education program in a major tertiary referral hopital. I am keen to see technology used to its capacity in the hospital, to improve patient safety and efficiency, as well as creative methods of education. My interest in nephrology includes management of complex patients with the metabolic syndrome, difficult to manage hypertension, cardiovascular disease in end stage kidney disease and interventional procedures in nephrology particularly biopsy, vascular access and percutaneous peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion.
