Dr. Swati Viswanathan

I am a physician trained and board certified in internal medicine with a strong clinical interest and specialization in nephrology. I just finished my nephrology fellowship at The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and am currently board -eligible for Nephrology. I enjoy managing complex inpatient cases, including acute kidney injury, electrolyte disorders, and dialysis-related care. I have a special interest in glomerulonephritis and home based dialysis modalities. My focus is on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary hospital setting. I am particularly interested in inpatient nephrology and continue to build my clinical expertise in managing medically complex patients.
