Nephrologist, a kidney disease specialist practicing in Long Island. Specially interested in the field of hypertension, kidney diseases such as chronic kidney disease, acute renal failure, dialysis and transplantation. I have been involved in the early diagnosis and initiation of the preventive treatment to protect kidneys from the effects of diabetes and hypertension, which are the common causes of renal failure globally. My research focused on aspects of hypertension, vasculitis, Takayasu’s arteritis and glomerular injury and the results have been published extensively in the international journals of repute. I have been teaching medical students and medical residents for over thirty years.
