Dr. Suresh Maharjan

Dr. Suresh Maharjan, MBBS, MD, DM is a practicing Consultant Nephrologist and Kidney Transplant Physician with special interest in kidney transplantation, general Nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). He is actively involved in managing patients with various kidney diseases including glomerulonephritis, acute kidney injuries, chronic kidney diseases. He is a certified Kidney Transplant Nephrologist of Nepal. He is specialized in managing the patients with kidney transplantation, kidney biopsy, Internal Jugular catheter insertion, CAPD catheter insertion. He completed his MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine, 2016) and later achieved Doctorate (DM) degree in Nephrology from Institute of Medicine-Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (IOM-TUTH) in 2021. He has published several research papers and articles in various national and international journals. He is an active member of Nepal Society of Nephrology (NSN). Previously, he had worked as Consultant Nephrologist in Shahid Dharmabhakta National Transplant Center, Bhaktapur. Now he is working as Associate Professor in Kathmandu Medical college Teaching Hospital, Sinamangal and as a Consultant Nephrologist at Apollo Polyclinic, Maitidevi and Karuna Hospital.
