Dr. Sabrine Braga
Nephrologist from USP (2019-2021), graduated in medicine from UNICAMP (2011-2016), where I also completed residency in Internal Medicine (2017-2019) as a requirement for Nephrology. After completing my Nephrology residency, I dedicated 1 year to Preceptorship in Nephrology at the USP Medical School (2021-2022), where I contributed to the training of new residents, including the development of skills to perform renal biopsy and insertion of dialysis catheters, organization theoretical load of the residency, discussion of daily clinical cases in an interactive and complementary way with other specialties and specialized care for pregnant women with kidney disease (nephro-obstetrics) together with the Obstetrics team. Currently, I work as a nephrologist at the Glomerulopathies Outpatient Clinic of HC-FMUSP, where I study and develop postgraduate learning (interest in glomerulopathy and pregnancy). In addition, I am an assistant physician at the Nephrology ICU at HC-FMUSP, I work as a nephrologist at the Hemodialysis Unit at the Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz (HAOC) and I provide specialized health care for post-renal transplant patients at the Hospital do Rim e Hipertensão (HRIM ). I also work as a nephrologist at Fresenius and Davita in the care of patients with chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury, respectively. Recently, I have expanded Nephrology care to other cities in the countryside of São Paulo by telemedicine in partnership with local health units, contributing to providing better access to specialized health. Goal: Constant search for knowledge and improvement based on scientific evidence, as this is the key to improving health in the final line of the entire teaching-research-assistance process: the patient. “The first step to start seeing is to stop ignoring”.
