Dr. Rebeen Saeed completed his medical degree at the University of Sulaimani – College of Medicine. Following graduation, he undertook a two-year internship( foundation program), rotating through various departments at the General University Teaching Hospitals in Sulaimani. After his internship, Dr. Saeed was awarded the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Nephrology at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He subsequently completed his Internal Medicine Board Residency in Iraq at the General University Teaching Hospital of Sulaimani, Kurdistan. Dr. Saeed went on to complete a Clinical Fellowship in General Nephrology and Hypertension at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), graduating as a consultant/ specialist nephrologist. He then pursued an Advanced Fellowship in Adult Nephrology and Transplantation at the University of Toronto, Canada. Currently, Dr. Saeed is a registered specialist in renal medicine and general medicine; and he is a consultant nephrologist practicing within the NHS, United Kingdom. Throughout his career, he has received numerous academic honors and awards, including the British Chevening Scholarship and the Global Kidney Academy Award.
