Dr. Nihan Tekkarismaz

I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara Turkey, in 1999. Subsequently started my Internal Medicine specialization training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara Turkey in 2000. Upon getting certified in Internal Medicine in 2005 I started my Nephrology fellowship at Baskent University and I became a Nephrology Specialist in November 2009. After working at Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital. Then Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital as a Nephrologist for 3 years to complete mandatory government services, I returned to Baskent University and became an Associate Professor in September 2020 where I continued working as a Nephrologist until August 2021. After moving to UAE in 2021, I obtained my medical license from DHA and have been working as an Internal Medicine and Nephrology specialist in Dubai since 2022. I started at Neuro Spinal Hospital then moved to the HMS Hospital (Mirdif and Al Garhoud Private Hospital) as of June 2023 where I led the establishment of a hospital-based dialysis unit from ground up as a Head of Department in Nephrology in HMS Al Garhoud Hospital.
