Dr. Hans Brink

The hospital that I work in is in the middle of major changes. In less than 2 years the whole organisation is going to be moves into our new hospital. One of the challenges that we will be facing, is the changing of our work processes in order to be able to provide a simmilar amount of „health-care” to the same number of patients in a much smaller hospital. This means that we have to anticipate to these changes. One of the possibilities to be able to shrink our hospital but providing a simmilar production is to start implementing a culture of continious improvement using „Lean methods”. As I am in the middle of a course that is supposed to help me to become a „Lean Leader” I hope to be able to play a part in this change process.
