As a Senior Clinical Program Leader in the Cardiorenal Metabolic group at Boehringer Ingelheim, I lead clinical development programs focused on advancing innovative therapies for patients with kidney disease. My role involves strategic oversight of clinical trial design, execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory alignment. Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, I served as a clinical reviewer in the Division of Cardiology and Nephrology at the FDA, where I evaluated investigational therapies and contributed to regulatory decision-making. Earlier in my career, I spent over a decade as a practicing pediatric nephrologist, conducting clinical and quality improvement research aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and care delivery.
