Dr. Chee Yean Loo

I am Dr. Loo Chee Yean, a highly experienced Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine and a Consultant Nephrologist. I currently practice at Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre (SKMC) in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, where I provide comprehensive specialist clinic sessions from Monday through Saturday. I also maintain an active 24-hour on-call schedule for both internal medicine and nephrology.Beyond my clinical practice at SKMC, I am deeply committed to community service. I oversee the hemodialysis service and actively contribute to the „Persatuan Kebajikan Pusat Dialisis Chee Beng Chan, Banting,” a free-for-poor center. My clinical interests are primarily focused on diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and gout. Furthermore, I possess a strong passion for chronic kidney disease (CKD) management, with a particular emphasis on therapies aimed at retarding CKD progression, especially in cases of diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive nephropathy.I am also dedicated to medical education and public health advocacy. I actively engage in delivering educational talks to the public, general practitioners, and fellow medical colleagues. As a firm believer in preventive healthcare, I champion the importance of a healthy lifestyle and sound nutrition in disease prevention.
