Dr. Buddhika Illeperuma

A Sri Lankan medical graduate with 12 years of working experience in Internal Medicine & Nephrology. Graduated (MBBS) in 2010 from University of Colombo with 2nd Class Upper Honors and distinctions for Clinical Medicine and Medical Microbiology.After completion of MD(Medicine) in 2017, worked as a Senior Registrar in Nephrology at National Hospital of Sri Lanka, the largest healthcare facility in the country. Received overseas training in Nephrology for 2 years at Royal Free Hospital, London & Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, UK. Worked as Consultant Nephrologist at Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura for 2.5 years. Currently working as a Consultant Nephrologist & Transplant Physician at District General Hospital Matara, Sri Lanka since July 2024.
