Dr. Alan Cantillep

I’m a nephrologist at Balboa Nephrology Medical Group with a passion for clinical excellence, operational leadership, and innovation in kidney care. In addition to my clinical work, I currently serve as Director of AI and Innovation for BNMG, leading initiatives in automation, analytics, and workflow optimization. I also serve as an Orange County Team Captain, supporting regional strategy, operations, and team development, and I’m a proud Board Member, contributing to Balboa’s long-term direction and governance. My focus: scalable, data-driven solutions that improve patient outcomes and reduce burnout — while advancing the future of nephrology.
