As of January 2025, my workplace has officially become AZORG, the result of the merger between OLV Hospital and ASZ. With six campuses across Aalst (Moorselbaan Merestraat), Asse, Ninove, Geraardsbergen, and Wetteren, AZORG is now the third largest hospital in Flanders. With more than 5,000 staff members, 500 physicians, 1,200 beds, and nearly 1 million consultations per year, AZORG provides care “from A to Z.” From the very first day of life to the very last, we aim to ensure safe, innovative, and warm healthcare for all our patients. AZORG aspires to be a true symbol of innovation and compassionate care in Flemish healthcare.
