Dr. Amr El Attar

I graduated from faculty of medicine – Cairo university in 1993 where i did my internship and residency in internal medicine and nephrology and had master in 1998 and MD degree in 2008 . Cairo university hospital is the oldest and biggest university hospital in the whole middle east serving more than 3500 bed in all medical specialties. in 2003 I traveled to KSA where i worked in 2 of the best JCI accredited medical centers in KSA (AL-Mouwasat hospital in Dammam and king Fahd hospital jeddah ).In 2007 I finished my MRCP (UK) .In october 2017 I initiated and started the 1st full scale nephrology department in private sector in kuwait in New Mowasat hospital kuwait which is the oldest private hospital in kuwait and this nephrology department includes hemodialysis , CRRT , diagnostic kidney biopsy , pre renal transplant work up and clinics for chronic kidney diseases of all causes. in march 2019 the nephrology department achieved JCI accreditation with blank report ( no single mistake during JCI survey). During my 26 years old career I gained a very good experience in all fields of internal medicine and nephrology particularly hemo-dialysis , peritoneal dialysis , CRRT, plasmapharesis ,immuno-adsorption and renal transplantation.also i developed an excellent clinical teaching and leadership skills during teaching and leading a groups of undergraduate medical students and junior nephrology residents & specialists. I am also i member of the Egyptian society of nephrology and renal transplantation (ESN) European society for dialysis and transplantation (EDTA), and the international society of nephrology (ISN) with active participation and regular attendance of their annual conferences and scientific activities .
