Dr. Francesco Peyronel

I graduated in Medicine magna cum laude in 2015 at the University of Pavia and completed my Nephrology Residency in 2020 at the University of Parma. I am currently a PhD Student at the University of Florence and work as a nephrologist at the Careggi University Hospital in Florence, Italy. My research activity has focused on systemic rare diseases with kidney involvement, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus, retroperitoneal fibrosis, IgG4-related disease and Erdheim-Chester disease. I also have great experience and interest in haemodialysis, electrolytes disorders, acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. I published so far 20 articles in international, peer-reviewed journals.
