Dr. Patricia Bianco

I hold a degree in Medicine from the University of Health Sciences Porto Alegre (1996) and a Master’s degree in Medicine, with an emphasis on Nephrology, from the Federal University of São Paulo (2002). I have experience in the field of Medicine, with a focus on Nephrology, working mainly on the following topics: clinical research in kidney transplantation, immunology, cardiovascular and infectious complications post-transplant, acute kidney injury, and chronic kidney disease.From March 2008 to August 2017, I lived in the Middle East due to family matters. This period was enriching, allowing me to connect with medical professionals in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. During this time, I also assisted the Brazilian community with health-related matters. Additionally, I had the opportunity to become a member of the Emirates Medical Association – Renal Section and participate in courses and congresses. In 2016-2017, I was a member of the Brazilian Citizens Council of the United Arab Emirates.I was an Associate Professor at the School of Health of UNISINOS (University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos) in São Leopoldo – RS, from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2023. I served as a professor and coordinator of the Clinical Epidemiological Reasoning and Altered Semiological 2 (RCESA2) course in the fifth semester (from August 2021 to December 2022) and at the Department of Internal Medicine, specializing in Nephrology (8th semester). I was part of the UNISINOS tutoring program from August 2019 to December 2022 and was the coordinator of LATOS The Academic League of Organ Transplantation at UNISINOS.Since February 2022, I have been part of the Postgraduate Program in Pathology Doctoral Program at UFCSPA.
