Dr. Arvind Singh

As a consultant Nephrologist and General Internal Medicine specialist at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, I have experience in managing acutely unwell patients in acute medicine, general medicine, and nephrology. I also have a strong interest in intervention nephrology and glomerular diseases. I pursued my Glomerular disease fellowship at GlomCon in 2020-2021. In addition to my clinical work, I am an instructor and mentor at the GlomCon Glomerulonephritis fellowship, where I have been since 2022. This role has given me the opportunity to learn, teach, and network with renowned figures in the field of nephrology and glomerular diseases. I hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buckingham and a Diploma in Diabetes from the University of Hertfordshire. My skills include intervention nephrology, kidney transplant, Glomerulonephritis, Diabetic kidney disease and managing general medical patients. I am co-lead for SouthWest UK Glomerulonephritis network and member of the National Glomerular disease steering group. I am thhe director South West UK Glomerulonephritis course & Renal education day course. I have more than 30 publications in well reputed journals like Clinical Journal of American Society Nephrology, Kidney International, British Journal of Renal medicine, Kidney 360 and Kidney International reports. Time to time I also peer review published articles and research papers. I have a special interest in research & development. I have been an associate Principal investigator through NIHR (national Institute of health research) scheme. Currently a principal investigator and sub-investigator for various research trails. I am a member of UK Glomerular disease working group driving policy making and standardising UK wide glomerular disease treatment. I am also a member of European Renal Association, UK Kidney Association, International Society of Nephrology and International Society of Glomerular disease.
