I am an academic nephrologist. My focus is on the patient as a person, and my role as a physician in relieving suffering, particularly as our population ages. I thrive on the close relationships I build with my teams as we engage in delivering the best care we can. As a researcher, I focus on patient-centric outcomes – and how we can best help patients make optimal decisions for themselves.
