Dr. Ricardo Portiolli Franco

Ricardo Portiolli is an interventional nephrologist at Pro-Renal Foundation Brazil, a pioneer institution in the country. He finished his nephrology residency in 2014 at the Evangelic Hospital of Curitiba – Brazil followed by a post-graduation in ultrasonography and a short term training in endovascular procedures. He started to coordinate the Pro Renal Foundation Vascular Access Program in 2014, implementing integrated care and performing vascular access ultrasound, surveillance and endovascular procedures. He is interested in improving hemodialysis vascular access care through spreading interventional nephrology training and research in developing countries.
