Dr. Surabhi Talwar

I am a Consultant Nephrologist at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust, working across renal medicine, transplantation, and vasculitis. I also serve as the Guardian of Safe Working Hours, where I oversee junior doctor exception reporting, rota safety, and compliance with contractual safeguards to support a safe, sustainable training environment.Alongside my clinical role, I contribute to governance and service-improvement work within the renal and transplant services.I am currently completing an Executive MBA at Warwick Business School, which is strengthening my understanding of leadership, operations, and system improvement within complex healthcare settings. I am particularly interested in how clinical pathways, capacity, and workforce processes can be improved to deliver safer and more efficient care.I am open to advisory conversations, expert-network consulting, and roles that connect clinical insight with organisational improvement.
