Internal Medicine and Nephrology trained physician experienced in chronic kidney disease and hypertension management, acid-base and electrolyte disorders, renal replacement therapy including CRRT, conventional hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and ultrasound-guided native and transplant kidney biopsies. Keenly interested in the socioeconomic determinants of medicine and addressing systemic barriers leading to health inequities. Skilled in intravenous lines, ultrasound-guided bedside procedures including thoracentesis and paracentesis. Former Chief Resident passionate about evidence based medicine, improving systems, developing healthcare systems leadership skills, multidisciplinary team building, and educating and empowering future physicians.
