Dr. Nejra Prohić

Internal Medicine Physician with a history of medical practice currently trainee in Nephrology with interests in Cardionephrology, Clinical Research, Medical Education and Medical Ultrasound. She finished Master’s Degree focused in Cardionephrology at Faculty of medicine University of Sarajevo. Dr Prohic’s focus now is finishing her PhD degree in field of Cardionephrology with special focus on Ultrasound of lung used in hemodialysis patients, as a marker of volume status. She is also one of the winners of the ERA EDTA Young Fellowship Programme in 2016. Under this programme she worked with prof. Carmine Zoccali (Italy) in Functional Testing of Cardiovascular Testing of CKD patients. Also she works as senior teaching assistant at SSST Faculty of Medicine / Internal medicine. She has interest in photography and Interior Design as amateur.
