Dr. Stavros Fokas

Graduated from the department of Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013. I worked as an internal medicine junior intern at Ostalbklinikum Aalen, then as a resident in General Hospital of Chalkida and General Oncological Hospital of Kifisia. I completed my specialty training in Nephrology at General Hospital of Athens „GNA Gennimatas” in 2022 and the following 3 years worked as a nephrology consultant at the Department of Nephrology at Hygeia Hospital, gaining valuable experience in all fields of clinical nephrology. I also work at the dialysis unit MXA NEFROLOGIKI AE and followed patients in my private nephrology practice in my hometown Chalkida. I currently work as nephrologist at Nemesos Nephrology Clinic in Limassol, were we provide specialized treatments exclusively tailored to the needs of patients with kidney related problems. My clinical experience lies in all the fields of clinical nephrology (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, acute kidney injury) and my clinical and research interests include chronic kidney disease, primary glomerular disease, polycystic kidney disease, onconephrology, diabetic kidney disease, nephrolithiasis, mineral bone disorder, metabolic bone diseases and osteoporosis.
