Along with working as a full time Physician and Nephrologist, I have had the privilege to found the First Dialysis group of Services. This is now the largest private dialysis service provider in Punjab Province with centres in different cities including Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara. Our group receives patients from all over the world and in particular, from the UK NHS hospitals for holiday dialysis service. This has enriched me both clinically and academically while dealing with all aspects of haemodialysis in the past 20 years. In the present COVID situation, the group has pioneered home care dialysis, where full dialysis services are provided to patients at their homes. The response from the patients has been over whelming and we have extended this service to areas beyond Lahore with patient now on routine home dialysis in other cities. I have also developed complete renal care from outpatient and inpatients services, to one of the most experienced kidney transplant team in the country. At Doctors Hospital, Lahore, I have introduced the idea of a dedicated Executive Dialysis suite for patients wishing to dialyse in exclusivity. I have been working in the UK on regular basis as a Consultant and this has added immensely to my experience. Thankful to all these accomplishments, I wish to get further experience of working environments in other parts of the world and share my experience with other institutions.
