Prof. Irith Lebovich

I am a nephrologist, engineer, entrepreneur and educator on a mission to elevate the healthcare system by tapping into the power of communication. I believe in the individuals who make up the system and I love building bridges between them. I like to be challenged, engage in debate, and I believe that so much can be learned from stepping outside of our comfort zone and making space for different viewpoints. Early in my career, I served as Chief Medical Resident at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. This is when I started truly appreciating the challenges healthcare professionals face in connecting with patients. I founded Yagrumo to spark positive change through human-centered care.
