• Doctor, Graduated from Antioquia´s University, in Medellin (Colombia), subspecialist in Nephrologist, and Specialist in Internal Medicine. • Extensive Nephrology Experience, diagnose, treat, and manage in acute and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Clinical Nephrology, Critical Care Nephrology, Dialysis Therapy’s (hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy), Kidney Transplant and Kidney-Pancreas Transplant. • Worked as a Nephrologist for the San Vicente de Paul Hospital in Medellín (Colombia), currently San Vicente Foundation Hospital, and for the Renal Transplant Group with the NEFRON Society. • I currently work at the Alma Mater Hospital in Antioquia (formerly Clinical Leon XIII), where I participated in the creation of the Nephrology service and its successful Transplant group. • More than 20 years of experience as University Professor, at the University of Antioquia, where I participate in the training of specialists in Internal Medicine and the Nephrology subspecialty. • Experience in Research, with several articles published in scientific journals. Currently participating in several clinical trials, with the clinical trials center of the Alma Mater Hospital of Antioquia. • Extensive experience as Medical Director of renal Therapy units, BBraunÒ – DialyserÒ, in the cities of Medellin and Bello (Antioquia – Colombia). • Editor and author of several chapters of the book „Renal Transplant” published by the Colombian Society of Nephrology and Arterial Hypertension (ASOCOLNEF) in 2023. • Participated in National and international events in the specialty area of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant. • Accomplished more than 20 complementary training courses in the specialty area.
